Oh yes, I absolutely loved hearing the sounds of traffic and construction from my glass-encased balcony. So serene.

The spa and the salt water pool were excellent. Also the Tara restuarant is superbly sited within the resort complex and serves up good food.

The hotel has an old and tired feeling to it. The location is a bit out of Chaweng centre and you will need a taxi to get there. And be prepared to walk up a large number of steps to get from the beach to the main foyer.

Excellent breakfast with a wide variety of options including fresh fruits, sushi, full English, and Thai dishes. Room was impeccably clean and the location provided easy access to the pool, bar, restaurant, and beach. Looking forward to returning soon.

Far too many steps down to the beach

The saltwater pool was very relaxing and enjoyable since it was right on the beach and overlooked the ocean. The room was very clean and comfortable, and everything from the air conditioner to the hot water worked.

The hotel is rather far from the shopping district and downtown area. The hotel is built on the side of a mountain, so be prepared for a workout! In the heat, it's a lot of climbing, and a bit more than what I consider enjoyable. Also, the hotel is facing the windy side of the island, so there was a constant gale that made swimming in the ocean tough.

I had a fantastic stay at the Sheraton in Koh Samui. The resort was fully booked during my visit, but the management team, led by Michael G, did an incredible job ensuring everything ran smoothly. The breakfast was delicious, and the head chef personally made sure that the food met the highest standards for all guests. The refurbished Blue Monkey bar was definitely worth the wait and provided a great spot for a cold drink. The staff were exceptional, and the two swimming pools, especially the one near the reception, were perfect for relaxation. The resort's beautiful garden added to the overall magnificence. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of choices that were all very satisfying. I highly recommend this hotel.

the hotel is much quite, the food cost is reasonable and taste is good.

We stayed at a Junior Suite which was perfect - spacious, conviniently located and always clean. The hotel staff was always helpful, careful and nice. The New Year 2011 event with fireworks and show was just brilliant. Not far, but not in the middle of a local walking street - there is a shuttle service every hour or taxi. Just to give a flavour - we extended our stay for two weeks extra. Unlimited Internet access at a reasonable price.

The internet service may be better. I have heard complains about staff's English language proficiency, indeed there is a bit, but if you use simple language this works well.

I recently stayed at Sheraton Samui Resort for a week-long vacation and it was absolutely amazing. The rooms were spotless and the comfortable bathroom was a nice touch. The staff at the hotel were incredibly kind and always went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. The breakfast buffet was extraordinary, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The beach and pool were clean, and there were very few mosquitoes. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great vacation spot.

the beach was so good and the spa was excellent

it takes 10 mints to reach the "chawing" beach and all the shoping areas and coffee shops. the rooms are soo far from the beach with a lot of steps ups and douwns in the way.

Located on a beautiful beach with crystal clear waters and two pools; the breakfast offered has a great variety of high quality food options. Another advantage is the nice gardens and the comfortable beds for a good night's sleep.

The location is best. Not like among too busy noisy Chaweng aria, close to there though, peace and quiet and spacious premises with beautiful garden in plenty of green, small river and ponds. Two swimming pools, one is right front of the beach and another is next to the dining for breakfast in the garden are both very good as well as the beach in front of the hotel. On the other hand, food is not especially wonderful but there are many other choices to eat out. And hot water in the bath room did not come enough. But it is highly recommended to stay there.

The beds were comfortable and the breakfast had a lot of options. There were nice gardens and we got good rest there.

The location wasn't great, far from shops and restaurants and the beach wasn't good for swimming. The hotel was too expensive for the low-quality service and infrastructure.

loved the atmosphere and hotel ambience

A/C did not work all 3 days. it was v v warm and hot. seems that dept related to A/C does not check all rooms on regular basis. Also the cable network is very bad. Hardly any good channels for English speaking customers. Only 1 movie channel that keeps repeating same movies
